January 6, 2011 by Stephen Foskett 6 Comments
This entry is part of 5 in the series RtF1

The first episode of Raising the Floor, the enterprise datacenter podcast from Foskett Services, features thought leaders from two key cloud storage-enabling companies: Josh Goldstein, VP of Marketing for Cirtas and Andres Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of Nasuni. Nasuni and Cirtas produce storage appliances that act as gateways to public cloud storage services like Amazon’s S3. Both gateways enable conventional applications to access cloud storage without the extensive modifications sometimes required.

Introducing “Raising the Floor”, Our Datacenter Podcast

December 1, 2010 by Stephen Foskett 1 Comment

Raising the Floor is a series of conversations with key industry figures focused on the future of enterprise IT. We envision a talk show format with moderation and guidance from Stephen Foskett. The name comes from the raised floor that literally supports most data center environments and is intended to suggest progress in this space. We intend to raise the bar of conversation, probing serious topics rather than chatting about the industry.
